Welcome to Cloud 9 !!

Welcome to Cloud 9. We are a new name in the training and development field, but are backed by a wealth of experience in designing and delivering high quality learning programmes. Unlike some other training organisations, we don't profess to know everything, or to cover every subject under the sun. We concentrate on what we know and what we are good at, which seems sensible to us.

So what do we do? We want to make you and your staff better at what you do. Simple really. So what can we offer? We can offer a range of learning and development programmes aimed at developing and improving your customer service. Let's face it, if you can't get the basics right and treat your customers properly, then the other things become much harder to achieve. Included in this category are the development of so-called 'soft skills'. Although this term sometimes makes it sound as though are easy, it is getting these right that can make all the difference to be competitive in today's marketplace. Have you and your staff got the right communication skills to deal with your customers? What about listening, and dealing with people who are upset or angry? Assertive behaviour and language are essential, as well as being able to negotiate a successful outcome for all concerned. We can develop these skills for your staff, which in turn will improve customer relations - which has to make good business sense!

Another key strand to our business is that of developing effective managers. So often people are placed into management positions because they have good technical knowledge, but can lack those particular skills which are needed to manage other people. How do we motivate teams? How do we set performance targets? Skills of communication, planning and organising, as well as the way managers adopt their own style are all covered by our programmes.
